Drive Summer Series Prize Giveaway Terms & Conditions

Privacy Statement

The information requested with this giveaway is being collected by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and ACC (our / we) for the purposes of Drive’s “Summer Series” marketing campaign. Any personal information you submit as part of this giveaway will be stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://drive.govt.nz/privacy-statement/. Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to and correction of any personal information you supply. If you wish to do so, please email driveadmin@nzta.govt.nz  

Giveaway terms and conditions

1. The giveaway period commences at 12.00am on Thursday 7 January 2021 and closes at 11:59pm on Wednesday 10 February 2021.

2. To participate in the giveaway, you must be registered with Drive, and earn enough points to enter prize draws.

3. By registering with Drive, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Any other information that we publish on how to earn points and win prizes also forms part of these terms and conditions.

5. Each fifty points earned gives one weekly prize draw entry. A list of all the ways to earn points can be found here. For the final grand prize draw, you will get one entry for each fifty points earned over the giveaway period (including points used to enter weekly prize draws).

6. We will award fifty $50 Prezzy cards each week and five $500 Prezzy cards for the final grand prize draw at the end of the prize draw period.

8. The final grand prize will be drawn at 3:00pm on Monday 11 February.

9. Winners will be randomly drawn and may only win one weekly prize within the same weekly prize period, and one prize in the final grand prize draw.

10. Weekly points are accumulated during the weekly prize period for entry into that week’s draw. Any points not used for an entry in a weekly prize draw will carry through to the next week.

11. Prezzy cards are not redeemable for cash. Prezzy card terms and conditions can be found here.

12. We will make two attempts to contact each winner by sending an email to the email address associated with their Drive account. Winners have one month to claim their prize from receipt date of email. If a winner fails to claim the prize within this time period, they will forfeit their prize.

13. Prizes will be sent out to the drawn winners to the address details supplied, once winners have claimed their prize.

14. We reserve the right (at our discretion) to refuse your entry or disqualify you if you have not complied with these terms and conditions.

15. We reserve the right to disqualify any individual we suspect is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the giveaway.

16. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss, damage, or injury (including indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with participation in the giveaway or the use of the prizes.

17. If any of the prizes become unavailable for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we may cancel the giveaway.

18. If for any reason the giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, technical failures or any causes beyond our control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the giveaway, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway.

19. We reserve the right to alter any aspect of the giveaway at any time in our sole discretion. By continuing to participate in the giveaway you will be deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions then in effect.

20. Our decisions on all matters relating to the giveaway are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

21. Any personal information that you submit as part of the giveaway will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Statement set out above.
